What to notice on a desert-home tour
Look beyond the photographs and make space for questions about the home’s everyday details.

Look at how the spaces connect
Walk through the home as if you were starting a normal day. Notice the route from the kitchen to the patio, the storage near the entry, and the rooms that could serve more than one purpose.
Spend time outdoors
Look at the covered areas, planting, paving and outdoor access. Ask yourself how you would use the space and how much upkeep you want to take on. A beautiful photo is a starting point; seeing the home in person gives you more to consider.
Keep observations separate from assumptions
Make a note of what you can see and what you still need to verify. Questions about a home’s cooling equipment, roof, maintenance history or utilities deserve property-specific information from the appropriate source.
Take the same questions to each visit
- Which spaces fit my routine well?
- What seems flexible, and what would be difficult to change?
- What information do I need before taking another step?
Your notes can help Korri understand what is working for you and where the search needs to focus next.
